Plans, trials, and subscriptions

A plan decides three things: how many words you can machine-translate each month, which capacity-bound features you can use, and — for organizations — how many seats you have. Personal plans belong to you; Business and Company belong to an organization and are managed from its own billing page (see Organization billing).

Every plan card lists the same rows, so plans are easy to compare:

  • Words included — the monthly machine-translation allowance in source words, with an approximate page count alongside (250 words per page). The Free card shows the one-time signup pack instead — see Words, packs, and usage.
  • Subtitling — the monthly allowance for Subtitle Studio, counted in minutes of video. Plans without this row do not include subtitling.
  • Websites — the total words of site content the plan keeps translated and live across your connected sites. It is a size cap on the translated content, not a visitor-traffic meter, and the number of sites is not limited. Plans without this row cannot connect a site.
  • Seats — organization plans only: how many members the organization can hold.
  • Features — the capabilities listed on the card. Every plan, Free included, carries the full editor, translation memories, glossaries, and quality checks; Basic lists the PM dashboard, reports, fuzzy-match apply, and workflow authoring. Pro and Studio add quality-estimation routing with auto-approve, and Subtitle Studio. Business adds the team workload board; Company adds the client portal.
  • Extra words — every paid plan can buy word packs.

Free is the plan you have when you have no subscription. It is also where a cancelled subscription lands.

Prices are per month. The plans page shows them in EUR including VAT or in USD with tax added at checkout; the toggle at the top switches the display, and your choice is remembered. Each currency has its own fixed price list — there is no live exchange-rate conversion.

Every paid personal plan starts with a 14-day free trial on the plan you choose. A card is required, nothing is charged during the trial, and the paid plan starts automatically when the trial ends unless you cancel first.

  • Start a trial from the plan step at sign-up, or later with Try free for 14 days under a plan card on the plans page.
  • During the trial, words and subtitle minutes are available at half the plan’s monthly quota; websites and seats are available in full.
  • Words you use during the trial are not counted against your first paid period.
  • You can switch the trial to a different plan at any time. The trial keeps its end date, nothing is charged now, and the first invoice is for the new plan.
  • You receive a notification three days before the trial ends, and a banner on the Projects page shows the trial and its end date while it runs.
  • Each account gets one trial. If you have already used it, choose the plan to subscribe directly.

While trialing, Account → Billing shows Free trial, the plan, and the trial end date, and tells you what happens when it ends.

  1. Open the plans page — View plans on Account → Billing, or the plan step at sign-up — and choose a plan.

  2. Confirm the consent dialog. It records that you accept the Terms of Service and the Data Processing Agreement, and the plan and price shown. If the terms have changed since you last accepted them, a checkbox asks you to accept the current version. You also tick a box requesting immediate access and acknowledging that the 14-day right of withdrawal ends once the service starts.

  3. Select Continue to payment. You are taken to the secure checkout page to enter your card details, then returned to the app. A promotion code can be entered on the checkout page.

Once the payment completes, the plan is active immediately and the Billing tab shows Active, the plan name, and the date the current period ends.

Use Change plan on Account → Billing. The plans page marks your current plan and offers Switch to … on the others. A confirmation explains exactly what will happen before anything changes:

  • Upgrades take effect immediately. The prorated price difference for the rest of the period is charged now, and the new allowance applies at once.
  • Downgrades are scheduled for the end of the period. You keep your current plan and allowance until the date shown; the new plan starts then. Nothing is charged or credited now. Until it takes effect, the Billing tab shows Plan switches on with the date, and the current plan’s card reads Keep … — select it to cancel the scheduled switch.
  • Switching during a trial is immediate and free; the trial end date is unchanged and the first invoice is for the new plan.

Business and Company cannot be bought for a personal account. Their button reads Set up an organization and takes you to the Organization page.

Manage Subscription on Account → Billing opens the billing portal, where you can cancel. A cancelled subscription runs to the end of the period you have paid for: the Billing tab shows Runs until with the date, and a Resume subscription button undoes the cancellation at any point before then. After the period ends, the account moves to the Free plan.

The billing portal behind Manage Subscription is also where you update your card and find every invoice and receipt. If a renewal payment fails, the Billing tab shows Past Due with an Update Payment Method button; fix the card there and the subscription continues.

While a subscription is active or trialing, Have a promo code? on Account → Billing lets you apply a code to it. The discount takes effect from the next invoice, and any active discount is listed above the link.
