Billing & plans
Lionrapid bills machine translation in words — the same source word counts you see in the editor. A plan gives you a monthly word allowance plus the features and capacity listed on its card; word packs are one-time top-ups for when the allowance runs out. Personal accounts and organizations each have their own plan, their own balance, and their own billing page.
Where billing lives

If you open Account → Billing while working in an organization’s context, the tab still shows your personal billing and says so, with a button to the organization’s own billing page. If you are paid for translation work through the platform, your payout setup also appears on this tab; that side is covered in Delivery & payments.

The plans page in the app is the source of truth for prices and current allowances; the table shows the standard ladder. Prices are shown per month in EUR (including VAT) or USD (tax added at checkout) — a toggle on the plans page switches between them, and seats are included in the organization plans rather than billed per user.

The short version
Section titled “The short version”- Words are drawn when you confirm a project, once per file and target language, at the exact word count shown in the cost review. Nothing is charged before you confirm, and a failed delivery is refunded automatically.
- Your plan’s allowance is spent first, then your signup pack, then any word packs you have bought. Unused allowance does not roll over; word packs never expire.
- When words run out, new machine translation is blocked until you buy a pack, upgrade, or the period resets. Existing projects stay fully editable.
- Organization work is billed to the organization, never to the member who runs it, and only the organization owner manages its plan.
