Getting started

LionRapid is a translation platform built around projects. You upload the documents you want translated and pick the source and target languages; the platform machine-translates the files, and you — or a translator you assign — review and finish the result in the CAT editor. When a target is done, you download the translated document in its original format.

  • Projects — each translation job is a project: one or more source files, translated into one or more target languages. Your projects list is home base, and each project has a hub where you manage files, languages, people, and delivery.
  • The editor — documents are split into segments that you translate in the CAT editor, starting from machine-translation suggestions.
  • Language resourcestranslation memories reuse your past translations, and glossaries keep terminology consistent.
  • Machine translation — every project chooses an MT engine and setup, with sensible defaults you can simply accept.
  • People — translate yourself, or assign translators and let offers handle the agreement.
  1. Create your account — sign up, verify your email, and complete the short onboarding.
  2. Run your first project — upload a file, pick languages, let the platform translate it, review in the editor, and download the result.
